Mechanical Engineer
Bill Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. Since that time he has worked in the development of farm machinery and heavy trucks for a number of the larger Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s). His work has always had a strong technical component.
Over the past ten years Bill has worked with a number of smaller firms in setting up and operating data acquisition systems to resolve a variety of issues related to:
a) Component failure (and resolution)
b) Vehicle ride quality
c) Noise emissions and noise abatement (outside and interior).
d) Cost reduction of components
e) Structural / component vibration
